LifeLight on Tour Omaha
Westwood Church April 21, 2006
It was a great crowd on hand as LifeLight on Tour visited Omaha, NE. Quarter to Seven started off the night (my apologies for not getting any pictures of them), followed by Nebraska favorites Remedy Drive.
Some of the audience who attended. More filtered in later.
Speaker Alan Greene from Food for the Hungry, one of the sponsors of LifeLight on Tour.
The one picture I was surprised turned out so well. The stage was being set up for Casting Pearls in dim lighting. The viewer on my digital camera registered black, but I took the picture anyway. Yay for a powerful flash! As you can see, there was no dance contest (boo...) and during the actual performance Bryan substituted "Whole World in His Hands" for "Close Your Eyes." CP's set finished with "Take On Me" and did Buddy Holly's "Everyday" as their encore. It ROCKED.
Let the rock begin...
The tour was using fog machines on stage, so some of these pictures may look fuzzy. No chance to roam around to the other side and get a better shot of Case either to compensate for the fog.
Best shot I got of Case on his side of the stage. Bad fog. Bad. lol...
Very lively set in front of the home state crowd.
During the bridge of "Love's Done Something," Bryan sang real quiet. I didn't notice the guitar pick on his forehead until I uploaded my pictures. Bonus! :)
Bryan, move over so I can get a picture of Scott...ah, there he is! Most of the night Bryan was strategically placed (where I was standing) right in front of Scott.
<--- Technical difficulties? Or an accurate commentary on how CP was performing that night? The latter was, in my opinion, definitely true.
Bryan telling his Christian college co-ed roller skating story leading into "Wastin' Time."
<--- Case encouraging audience participation...
This is what Bryan looks like as he is getting up after sitting down on the drum riser. No clue as to what the photographer was thinking while taking the picture. ;)
Having fun...
More audience participation encouraged...
<--- My favorite pic from that night.
"Do you mind if I tune my guitar?"
Someone actually piped up and said, "Yes."
Rhetorical question, since Bryan was already in the process of tuning...lol.
Getting a kick out of the group of little girls at the front of the stage.
<--- The gem picture of the night. Rock on.
Case and Bryan at CP's merch table after the concert. Scott was hiding behind the LifeLight banner.
Some will appreciate this picture. :) I needed a snack and some caffeine for the drive home. Couldn't resist...
Thanks for viewing my pictures! Be sure to check CP's concert listings elsewhere on this site to find out if the band is coming to a town near you!
